Healthy Vessels is a faith-based program that promotes the goal of maximizing the health of one’s body, mind, and spirit. It is presented as a lifestyle program that will support good health throughout one’s life. The guidelines discussed in the program are based upon Biblical principles, healthy eating, and a sound exercise program. It is impossible to do what you need to do to maximize your health until you know the implication of your health habits. The Healthy Vessels program provides the foundational information that one needs in order to live a healthy life.
As Christians, we are commanded to be good stewards of our bodies. Healthy Vessels focuses on those components that allow individuals to maximize their personal health in the context of following Biblical principles. Since everyone has a purposeful mission on this earth, it essential for you to have the necessary health information to ensure that you will be able to carry out your mission.
The program began in 2008 and has had a very positive impact on those individuals who have embraced the Healthy Vessels principles. The initial results were fantastic. When these principles were shared and implemented with others, more outstanding results followed. These positive outcomes made it apparent that many others could benefit from the program. Thus the outreach continues to expand!
The Healthy Vessels program is a 12-week faith based program that is available for your church or organization. Before the 12-week session begins an orientation is provided for those who may be interested in getting a general understanding of what the program is about. After this 2 hour orientation, those who have made a decision to take part in the class will either choose to sign-up that evening or sign up prior to the beginning of the first session.
Each class during the 12-week session lasts approximately 2 hours and is usually held on the same day of each week. A book and a notebook are provided for each class member or each couple during the 12-week class. Married couples will receive one notebook and one book to share. Call for present class rates for both single and married participants.
Every class member is weighed in prior to each class and their personal weight is kept private. There are short reading assignments each week and questions are provided to reinforce concepts taught. Discussion, power point, video clips, group work and class activities are the techniques used to teach the health concepts. Exercise videos and class results are accessed from the Healthy Vessels website by way of a password. Articles related to the classes are also made available through the website.

The Healthy Vessels class will be taught by Jim Williamson (“The Health Coach”). He is the founder of the Healthy Vessels program. He is an author, motivational speaker and a consultant for maximizing personal health. He is known for his straight-talk, results-oriented approach to helping others. He has had personal experience in overcoming health challenges (read about his transformation-2001) and follows the Healthy Vessels guidelines that he will be teaching. He does more than just tell people what they need to do, he does it!
